Ok BES Fam! We are trying to keep you on your toes! We have had to make one more adjustment to our pep rally & instrument parade. Since the junior high is coming to us and their game has been changed to an away game, we will now be hosting in the morning! NEW TIME WILL BE Thursday, September 12th 9:45-10:15. Thanks!

Head Start & PK- Red Kindergarten- Purple First Grade- Green Second Grade- Yellow Also, the date and time of the BJH parade here at the elementary campus has been updated to Thurs day, September 12th at 2:15pm. Apologies for the error and any confusion!

BES is excited to announce that BJH will be coming to our campus for a quick pep rally on Wednesday, September 12th, at 2:15pm [date and time updated]! Visitors welcome but need to stand on the outskirts of the parking lot. Please DO NOT intermingle with the children as it causes confusion and makes it hard to account for all children. Lastly, please do not expect to check your child out early. It is still a full instructional day. Dismissal will be at 3:55pm. Please send a homemade instrument with your child to school by Tuesday, September 10th!

GOOD NEWS! If you missed the cutoff of BES 2023-2024 yearbook sale, it has been REOPENED! The cost is $25 and can be purchased at https://shop.memorybook.com. Use school code 177306M. Then, you can either collect it at the BES front office OR email a receipt into jennifer.stewart@bowieisd.net and it will be sent home with your child (including 3rd graders). Hop on it now! The sale won't be open long!

Calling all interested substitutes, we need you in BISD! Please attend one of the new substitutes' training sessions to start subbing in Bowie ISD. Even if you haven't completed all the paperwork, you can attend the training, and then we will assist you with any missing information. Thanks for your patience regarding transportation on the first day of school. Please remember that the route number is the most important number for your student to know. Route numbers will not change, but the bus number could change periodically.
