On behalf of the Bands and Choirs of Bowie ISD, we would like to invite you to a night of fun, music, and cake! We will be hosting our annual Cakespin fundraiser on Saturday, April 6, 2024 from 5pm-9pm. Come for a little while or stay the whole time- you will NOT be disappointed! We will have live auctions, music from all BISD music groups, and even the winterguard will be performing! Admission is free, but if you want to get in on the cake action, tickets are $1 each to play for 6 for $5. You can even buy an all night ticket for $20 and every time your number is called you WIN! Come have a great time with us and help support our music departments!

Our second grade students will going to Bowie Intermediate on April 9, 2024. This visit will allow the students to see the building and get to know their new principals, Mr. Childers & Mr. Wesley, who will be hosting the tour.
The evening of April 9, 2024 from 6pm - 7pm, BIS will be hosting a family night for the same purpose. Please plan to come! We look forward to seeing you there!

Kindergarten Cap & Gown Pictures will be taken at Bowie Elementary on Tuesday, April 2nd. These pictures will be offered on a proof basis; therefore, there is no money needed on picture day.

Region 9 Head Start representatives will be at Bowie Elementary on April 30, 2024 from 8am - 11am. They will be available to assist with the application process and answer any questions you may have. See flyer for more information.

BISD will celebrate Random Acts of Kindness (RAK) Week from February 12 to February 15. It's a celebration of all the ways we can become a positive influence in each other's lives. Each campus will participate in theme days and activities to encourage and model kindness. #RAKWEEK #Bowiebuilt

Bowie ISD values your input as we consider the instructional calendar for the 2024-2025 school year. The district has created several questions that we would like your thoughts, ideas, and feedback on to help assist in the calendar creation process. The District Calendar Committee, consisting of administrators, teachers, and parents, will use your feedback in the creation of next year's calendar and present a 24-25 calendar to the BISD School Board in February. Please complete the following survey by Friday, February 9th.
